The Skutt GM814 glass kiln fires to 1,800°F on 240 or 208 volts. This studio kiln easily fits a 16" diameter shelf. The Skutt GMT-814 Glass Kiln comes with a Digital Touchscreen Controller.
The GM814 features top and side firing elements, a low mass type K thermocouple and the GlassMaster, an electronic controller that has preset firing modes as well as a ramp/hold mode with up to 8 segment programs.
