Laguna CN304 Moroccan Sand Casting Slip

Moroccan Sand Casting Slip is the original Cone 5 stoneware casting slip.

It makes a reliable stoneware slip that can be cast in all standard molds.

It is semi-vitreous, meaning it will absorb between 3% and 7% of its weight in water when submerged, and is therefore only for indoor use.

It is suitable for both gas and electric kilns.

As a general guideline, 50 lbs of dry slip mixes with about 3 gallons of water to make about 5 gallons of slip.

To get the viscosity and specific gravity that you want, you will have to make the solution in the best ratio that works for you.

This slip fires up to cone 5-6.
