The Skutt GM1414 glass kiln fires to 1,800°F on 208 or 240 volts. It features an oval design and is perfect for classrooms and studios.
The GM1414 is equipped with top and side firing elements that fire evenly and allow for glass projects to heat at a uniform rate, low mass type k thermocouple, porcelain peep plugs and a hinged control box.
This kiln has the GlassMaster, an electronic controller that has preset firing modes as well as a ramp/hold mode with up to 8 segment programs, installed.
NOTE: This kiln does come with a lid lifter standard.
