The 8” Straight Comb Tool is an easy-to-hold 1.25” wide tool with both undercutting and combing functionality. This tool makes for smoother cuts and designs, and the beveled shape is much more hand-friendly, allowing you to work longer and with greater precision. The wooden undercutting tool is great for removing excess clay before taking your piece off the wheel.

The comb is made out of cherry, oak, maple, or sugar maple and is a great handmade tool for creating a comb effect. The straight comb imprint gives the piece a sophisticated classic style that dates back thousands of years to northeast European pottery.
