Stainless Steel Ribs from MKM Pottery Tools are designed for general use.

They are excellent for plates, cylinders, jars, vases, bowls, and teapots.

The smooth and narrow edges of the ribs allow for excellent control of the clay surface.

Stainless steel will not rust or rot.

If you hold the ribs perpendicular to the clay wall, it will drag the grog across the surface, giving it a rough texture.

The S5 has a different radius in each corner.

It makes an excellent rib for cornering.
