Skutt KS-614 Ceramic Kiln with Manual KilnSitter Controller

The Skutt KS614 electric kiln fires to 2,250°F on 120 volts, and features a 2.5" firebrick.

The KS614 is equipped with a KilnSitter, a mechanical control that fires your kiln by the time and temperature method of heat treatment using pyrometric cones or bars. After being exposed to the proper time and temperature (heatwork), the cone or bar softens and bends to a predetermined angle, shutting off the kiln. Also included is a limit timer.
