MKM W6 Wood Rib

Wood Ribs from MKM Pottery Tools are designed for general use.

They are excellent for plates, cylinders, jars, vases, bowls, and teapots.

If you hold the rib perpendicular to the clay wall, it will drag the grog across the surface, giving it a rough texture.

This wood rib is ideal for vertical compression.

The curved sides are ideal for working the sides of gently-curved exterior walls of vases and jars.
